An Opera Experience Weekend – (Day 1) Events in St. Peter’s Church1 min read

As part of the Drogheda Classical Music Series An Opera Experience Weekend will take place in St. Peter’s Church of Ireland from 31st January – 2nd February

with International mezzo soprano Tara Erraught which will include seminars, interviews, masterclasses, concerts and much more all focused around the voice.

Friday 31st January in St. Peter’s Church at 11am – 1pm

Song Master Class 1 – Tara and Dearbhla will work with emerging singers.  A fascinating experience to witness a singing lesson. This session will be presented by broadcaster Liz Nolan.

Friday 31st January in St. Peter’s Church at 2.30pm – 4.30 pm

Song Master Class 2 – Tara and Dearbhla will continue to work with emerging talent preparing for the Showcase Recital on Saturday evening.

Friday 31st January in St. Peter’s Church at 7.30pm-9.30pm

Tara Erraught and Dearbhla Collins – Showcase recital

As part of A Celebration of the Voice, guest Artistic Director, Tara Erraught will give an evening recital showcasing the wonderful world of song. 


Accompanied by her musical partner, Dearbhla Collins, this concert will also feature local singers Amie Dyer, Hannah O’Brien and James McCreanor, who will have taken part in masterclasses with Tara and Dearbhla.
