  • INSTITUTION  7.30 pm on Friday 26th April,

    The institution of the Rev Brian O’Reilly, as rector of Drogheda, Ardee and  Collon, and Kilsaran Union will take place at 7.30 pm on Friday 26th April,  in St Peter’s Church. All parishioners are invited to attend the service.  There will be supper afterwards, in the Parish Hall.

    As the repairs to Ardee church are more extensive than originally envisaged, it was  decided that the church would remain closed for possibly the whole of November.   However, Collon Church, having been closed for over two years, is now in pristine  condition.     The new plaza outside the gates of St Peter’s was formally opened on Monday8th May. The two bird sculptures represent the spires of the two churches of StPeter. There was a wonderful ballet display and an excellent children’s choirand the weather was glorious.
